Whitmeadow Trail, Stonecoal Area, Monongahela National Forest

This project started off with clearing large sections of blowdown throughout the whole trail. Once cleared, we focused on clearing drainage, rock armoring wet spots, and using highlines to re-direct trail flow. Funding for this project came from the Great American Outdoors Act. Whitmeadow Trail is 3.7 miles and designated as a Black Diamond trail. It descends to the scenic Shavers Fork Trail.
