Whitmeadow Trail, Stonecoal Area, Monongahela National Forest

This project began with the removal of extensive blowdown along the length of the trail. Once access was restored, our crew focused on improving drainage, rock armoring persistent wet areas, and installing highlines to better manage trail flow. Funding for this work was provided through the Great American Outdoors Act.

Whitmeadow Trail spans 3.7 miles and is designated as a Black Diamond trail, descending to the scenic Shavers Fork Trail.
